Grrr... photobucket... argh!

Design a mobile device and/or performance for “saying” -- an instrument to facilitate survival of the stranger in the city. “we are all strangers.”

so i HAD pictures of my "device" uploaded to photobucket, but my bandwidth has been "exceeded" so, perhaps another day... like tomorrow.

but i shall describe: my design was essentially a more refined design of a gps system. picture a smart looking little object, smaller and sleaker than a cell phone, on a cord around your neck - you, the stranger in the city. and your device - which can be picked up upon arrival, as well as other places (ebay) - and is programmed to the city of philadelphia before you embark. philadelphia in all it's up-to-date detail and glory. now, you have a device, like a travel guide that you can interact with, program to different languages, search your location, look for places to exchange money, hotels, car rentals, restaurants, and basically, navigate through the city - via touch screen or voice activated direction. (sure the latter could be annoying, but we tolerate nextels, don't we? or at least sort of...)

but that's basically it. you take this device on your travels with you from city to city and program it to your surroundings and you're set to go.
